A set of colored glass shader presets for DAZ|Studio. These can take a while to render, depending on object size and complexity, but can be worth it in some situations. 24 colors are included, hitting some of the basic colors and some common glass hues. Others can be created by dialing the diffuse setting, of course.

Because these are presets for the DS default shaders, they will work in any version of Daz Studio from 2 through 4 without modification.

Note that for these to look their best they need something to reflect and to be seen through the refraction. Also, the raytrace depth setting while rendering needs to be reasonably high (at least 4, I usually go for 6) or Weird Things will happen.

May be used for commercial and non-commercial images.

These Shaders are a Work of Art!
They are the best I found up to now: a clear, transparent, REAL glass!

With Max Raytrace Depth = 6, and four hours of rendering.

Thank you!

I see that a lot of persons downloaded these shaders, and that they liked them a lot, but I'm unable to find where I have to click for downloading!...

Could, please, somebody help me?

Thank you!

Right-hand side, between the "More Like This" images and the "More from ~MorganRLewis" images. (DeviantArt's recent additions have rather cluttered things up...)

Just bought a Poser Car to use in the background of some promo renders for a product and knew it would be some work to get it looking pretty in Studio. This will help, thank you.

You're welcome. I've used them for the same purpose myself.
